Aqua

Water

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract*

Offers multiple benefits, especially for dry, damaged and irritated skin. Aloe is hydrating, soothing, anti-inflammatory and has anti-itch properties.

Niacinamide Also known as vitamin B3, niacinamide is a very effective skin-restoring ingredient that offers multiple benefits for ageing and blemish-prone skin. Benefits include visibly improving the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines and dullness. It helps to repair damage from UV light and environmental pollutants.
Propanediol

A glycol that can increase absorption of other ingredients to improve their effectiveness in the skin. It has moisturising properties that boost skin dewyness that can result in a smooth, dewy finish as the formula sets. Propanediol is considered a safe, well-tolerated ingredient, not likely to cause sensitivity.

Carbomer

A texture enhancer used primarily to create gel-like formulations.

Ethylhexyl Olivate

A natural compound of skin-conditioning fatty acids derived from olive oil. It improves barrier function of the skin and helps keep vital hydrating substances in the skin from escaping.

Stearic Acid

Fatty acid is used as an emollient and emulsifier. It Improves skin's barrier function and reduces moisture loss.

Cetearyl Alcohol

A fatty alcohol that functions as an emulsifier and surfactant. It keeps ingredients mixed together and stable.

Ceteareth-20

A fatty alcohol that is used to thicken cosmetics and keep ingredients mixed together and stable.

Jojoba seed oil*

Jojoba oil enhances skin’s restorative properties, a plant oil that’s a rich source of numerous fatty acids. Jojoba oil can also provide topical skin-soothing benefits. Its physical properties are similar to the oil human skin naturally produces, helping it to hydrate skin and balance oil production.

Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil

One of the most deeply penetrating oils, it absorbs into the epidermis, making its moisturising benefits more intense. Rich in vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and K, as well as potassium and lecithin. Avocado oil is heavier than some other oils, however it absorbs fully and won't clog pores or leave any residue.

Gelita® Sol C Hydrolysed Collagen Peptides

Micro collagen molecules absorb into the epidermis and create a film on the skin's surface. Clinical studies on GELITA® Sol C Hydrolysed Collagen Peptides have shown an improvement in hydration, barrier function and increased collagen synthesis.


Betaine

Gently hydrating and occurs naturally in the skin. It’s known as an osmolyte, an ingredient that helps skin adapt to moisture losses and gains, essentially working to balance skin’s hydration.

Allantoin

By-product of uric acid, it is an effective skin-soothing and skin-conditioning agent. Allantoin occurs naturally in the body and helps to soothe, heal and stimulate new tissue growth.
Fucus Vesiculosus (Bladderwrack) Extract

Fucus vesiculosus extract, also known as bladderwrack, is a type of brown algae (seaweed). It is a treasure trove of antioxidants, minerals and all of the essential amino acids and can help defend the skin from daily exposure to airborne pollutants. One antioxidant in particular, known as fucoidan, assists with collagen synthesis and has water-binding properties for skin hydration.
Glycerin

Glycerin is a humectant (a type of moisturising agent that draws water into the skin).

Salt of benzoic acid is used as a natural preservative in both cosmetics and food products. It stops the product from going icky.

Sodium Hyaluronate

Incredibly hydrating. Hyaluronic acid absorbs well into skin and holds water, resulting in skin plumping and hydrating. Salt form (sodium hyaluronate) is more effective than pure hyaluronic acid due to its smaller molecular size and greater compatibility with the skin.
Caprylhydroxamic Acid

A natural preservative that has been found safe for sensitive skin as well as providing antimicrobial properties.
Glyceryl Caprylate

Medium chain fatty acids and fatty alcohol that works as an emollient (softens skin). It can help improve skin’s barrier so it’s better able to resist moisture loss.
