INGREDIENT GLOSSARY
Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Extract*

Rosewater has been used as skin care for hundreds of years. Soothing and hydrating with the added benefit of a delicious fresh scent.

Glycerin

Glycerin is a humectant (a type of moisturising agent that draws water into the skin).

Polysorbate 20

An emulsifier which is soothing on skin and also helps to keep the product stable.

SodiumPCA

Sodium PCA is the sodium salt of pyroglutamic acid (PCA). PCA is a naturally occurring component of skin and makes up part of the "natural moisturising factors" that maintain a healthy epidermis.

Sodium Hyaluronate

Incredibly hydrating. Hyaluronic acid absorbs well into skin and holds water resulting in skin plumping and hydrating. Salt form (Sodium hyaluronate) is more effective than pure hyaluronic acid due to its greater compatibility with the skin.

Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)

Vitamin C supports collagen production. It’s an antioxidant and reduces the formation of pigmentation.

Sol-C® Hydrolysed Collagen Peptides

Micro collagen molecules absorb into the epidermis and create a film on the skin's surface. Clinical studies on Sol-C have shown an improvement in hydration, barrier function and increased collagen synthesis.

Melissa Officinalis Leaf (Lemon Balm Herb) Extract*

Rich in Antioxidants, it’s soothing and gentle on the skin.

Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Extract*

An anti-inflammatory and a natural anti-bacterial. It also normalises the skin.

Lactobacillus/Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Fruit Ferment Extract

Exfoliating, reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract*

Hydrating and anti-inflammatory, has a cooling effect on skin.

Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Leaf Extract*

Protects skin against oxidative damage to keep collagen and elastin fibres in top condition.

Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract*

Protects cells and is rich in antioxidants. Has anti-ageing and anti-inflammatory properties. Promotes the health and quality of collagen.

Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract*

Hydrating, anti-inflammatory and gently antiseptic.

Phenoxyethanol

Well studied safe and globally approved preservative for skin care - keeping it free from bacteria and going nasty.

Ethylhexylglycerin
Well studied and safe conditioning agent and preservative for skin care. Used instead of parabens.

Disodium EDTA

Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. Penetration enhancer, helps other ingredients to penetrate deeper into the skin. Occasionally this ingredient gets a bad name because penetration enhancement is bad if the other ingredients are bad. But penetration enhancement is good when it’s combined with ingredients that are good - makes sense! So for Glow Mist, this ingredient helps to deliver even better results from all the other amazing ingredients.

Tromethamine

Well studied and safe pH buffer - keeps the product stable.

FAQs

How does collagen work when applied topically? Does it actually get absorbed?

Sol™ C collagen peptides are produced by gentle enzymatic hydrolysis to produce super fine micro collagen peptides that both absorb into the epidermis and form a protective barrier on the skin’s surface improving skin hydration and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. Both In-vivo and in-vitro studies have demonstrated improved hydration, barrier function and increased collagen synthesis with Sol® C collagen peptides.

How do I use Glow Mist?

Spritz Glow Mist onto clean face, neck and decolletage any time of day (3 pumps should be sufficient for this whole area). Please close your mouth and eyes before you mist, and remove glasses!

How do I fit Glow Mist into my skin care routine?

The best time to use Glow mist is on clean skin after cleansing and before or after moisturising. If you are wearing makeup or sunscreen, make sure you apply these after you apply Glow Mist so that they don’t block Glow Mist from working it’s magic on the skin.

How often should I use Glow Mist?

For best results, you should use Glow Mist twice a day, morning and night! You can top up your Glow Mist throughout the day if you feel the need for extra hydration and protection.

Do I need to consume Collagen Beauty at the same time as Using Glow Mist?

Including Collagen Beauty in your diet will get you the best results. Consuming collagen provides the building blocks for collagen production from the inside. Glow Mist provides collagen on the outside, improving barrier function and plumping and hydrating the epidermis. So feeding your skin from the inside and outside will definitely give you the best results!

I can feel some tightness and tackiness on my skin after I spray it - what is that?

That is the collagen molecules forming a barrier in the outer layers of the epidermis and on the skin's surface. This sensation may take a little bit of getting used to - but when you know what it is doing you will love the feeling!

The ingredient list has some big words in it - what are they?

Cosmetics always have a lot of sciencey sounding ingredients in them - but fear not, we have done our homework and chosen only the best and safest ingredients for Glow Mist. Have a look at the full ingredient glossary for the breakdown of each ingredient - above in the ingredients tab. We have stayed away from all Fragrances, Parabens, PEGS (polyethylene glycols), SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) and SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate).
